Swatch Originals Chrono Legendary Eagle Mens Watch SUIK400 Review

The watch is amazing. I was in the search of a chronograph and looked at all mid priced brands. Nautica, Kenneth Cole, Guess, Hugo Boss etc. and did not find anything really appealing. Found this one (and the all black one...) and thought it deserved a chance.

When I received it, it gave me the impression from a few meters away of being a 00 Bvulgari Chrono. Looked it closer and gave me the sporty, young and cool feel that swatch watches have.

It did not give it the fifth star because people are slightly right about the silicone strap. It has the tendency to get dusty or dirty. Nothing of note, especially if you can rinse the strap and dry it every other day... but well - it is well worth mentioning.

Last, I took it to a hiking trip and made a few marks on its glass. Took it to the closest swatch outlet and they polished the scratch off the shield to perfection at no cost. Remember the swatch worldwide guarantee. No questions asked.

The watch is beautiful and precise. The white rubber band picks ANY colour you rub it against (it can get yellow or deep blue - thanks to my jeans). So it's no very durable. I have found through Guess, that they source their straps from a company called Sequel and so far I've ordered two leather replacements and one rubber one in two years. Bear in mind, I like to keep my watch looking like new so I order a new strap every time I want to "renew" my watch. You can call Sequel on 01604 678 955 in England. The strap model for this watch is L11040L2 (rubber) £13 or white leather £17: W11008L1. They charge £2 for postage for each item. Hope this helps!

Of course in a black watch you will notice dirt easier but I can`t see any problem with this watch. Its light, durable, and with the quality you can expect from a swatch plus a killer price.

I have a 00 Seiko Watch and I`m not using it anymore, too heavy and why risk myself to get it stolen in the street (yea third world...)

For daily use you can`t beat it or any other chrono in this series.

This is my second TM watch and I cannot say enough good things about their quality. This watch was designed for TM by a world famous free diver, the story is included on a small insert in the box. The rubber strap is very durable and comfortable. The watch is filled with liquid silicone so the numbers are visible from any angle (a small bubble remains in each case and you can watch it move around). This watch is a bit larger than I expected and I would reccomend checking the dimensions if you are not sure of how it will fit your wrist. The orange dial is unique and gets attention.

Its the perfect boyfriend watch, very beautiful, elegant and feminine. The dial is not as big as mentioned by some of the reviewers. i went and tried this watch at a Guess store. It fit my wrist perfectly. I am a petite woman with thin wrists and it doesnt look too big on me.
I came back home and immediately ordered it from Amazon coz it was almost half the price here :)
